Bohning makes some powder for waterproofing your feathers but it only works for awhile. I've heard of the hair spray trick but never tried it. Good luck.

I had to put down a 6 pointer on my farm thursday that had that 'HD' disease. Game warden told me the same thing, that they would not come look at it because they had so many calls on it. Its a shame...

i believe that the .029 are just a little to big to be shooting 40. i have always shot the .019 and really like them although i have thought about going to the .010 on my viper predator pro sight.

sory i meant that they were real tight around the ankles and loose in the foot area. i would have to have wore very thick socks or two pair.

i do not own a pair but have tried both the knee high and medium height ones own and did not really like how the fit. they were real loose around the ankles and had a lot of room left in the foot...

if that allegiance has replaceable modules in the cams then it is a 2006 model, if not then it is older. regardless, it was a heck of a deal. enjoy it.

I had shoulder surgery myself a few years back, and missed a deer season. best thing to do is take your time and make sure it heals so you don't have to do it again like i do.

I've always measured from the platform. I usually like to get around 20 ft., depending on cover, but 15 ft. is plenty high enough.

I live in southwest VA. and I think that the hunting is great. Never have a prob. seeing deer. I always fill all my tags every year. Plenty of places to hunt.

Shot them the first year they came out.They were not very sharp out of the package and they seemed to whistle a bit going through the air. I switched to slick tricks and love them.
