Thought about selling the 223 also but it was in the safe maybe worth a try. in the long run may be cheaper but I was looking at a 26inch barrel in heavy contour might be hard to find one.

How did that rate of 1:9 twist work out for you. I am thinking of a 221 fireball build in a Remington SPS and was looking into the 1:12 twist or maybe a 1:10 twist.

I have the 7mm-08 in the mdl700 HB. I would never get rid of this gun. Best shot i have made with this gun was a yote at 585yds. Gotta love it.
