RE: Shot size/choke for doves

I usually use #8 and a skeet choke. Between a mojo dove set 30 yards out, and a dove call, I can usually get them in close. The skeet choke opens up the pattern so it's easier to hit them. Now, if...

RE: crimson trace laser grips

I've got the $275 set on a S&W 642 and like them. I don't know about the cheaper ones, though. I looked at a set for my G27, but decided against it because it adds too much bulk. I'd rather go with...

RE: gonna get a pistol...

I have an XD 45...it's the best pistol I've owned (and I own numerous). I don't think you will be disappointed. The XD also comes in a sub-compact, but I prefer the 4".

RE: Dove call

Well, I tried the dove call yesterday. I seemed to get more of a response from the Mojo Dove then the call. The birds were in the trees, so it wasn't a matter of getting them there, it was a matter...

RE: covering your scent

Ghost scent eliminator is the best. It made me a beiever when a bottle of liquid potpourri spilled in my car. I sprayed Ghost over where it spilled and WHAM, no more potpourri.

RE: Dove call

Not sure, but I just got one and I'll let you know how it goes. I have learned that it's easier to call a dove then a duck or goose. Quite simple.
