I plan to this year, Louisa co. is shotgun Buckshot country so a rifle outside of a Muzzle Loader is a no no.

Besides, I have more fun with it than I do with my modern rifle/Shotgun anyways.

With that data I would tend to agree but knowing that a many a Deer have been taken out to 100 yards with a .54 PRB makes me think that the data is mostly suggestive of knowing your weapons...

Those Brass framed Cap & Ball revolvers should not be subjected to a full load that is why they suggest a 15 - 20gr. powder charge, the heavier loads will stretch the frame enough to make it useless...

Like cayuqad said, stick with the Steel framed revolvers because even if you do not chain fire it, brass framed models will stretch.

Either Revolver that you mentioned will be a fine shooterfor...
