What's everyones go to bullet for deer in the .25-06? I have used the 115BT so far with great success. Thinking of trying the SST next.

Thanks for the comments. I always try to aim for the heart/lungs but was just wondering if the monometal bullet would be better for less damage. I will stick with the Hornady.

Let me know how it goes. Make sure you allow for bullet drop and squeeeeze the trigger, don't wanna jerk the shot and have to trail a gut shot antelope. I hear they are vicious

I shoot and load for the .257Wby, and it likes 100gr Barnes TSX. Best powders are RL22, IMR7828, Retumbo, H1000 and RL25. Mine is a Vanguard, and puts three shots into 1" or less @100yds.
