Also,use a different call everytime you set up on the same bird.They will remember the sound of a call.That one call and shut up trick has killed a ton of birds.He will come in sometimes silent...

Crows are your friend.They will locate your turkey for you.If your bird stops gobbling,listen for the crows.They will always sit above the turkeys and pick at them.Trust me it works.

No,
You have to adjust.Go to the fields and open areas when its raining.If bird gobbles on the roost and its raining or cloudy,get between the tom and the nearest opening or field.Ive killed 3 toms...

Thats just a cycle they go through during the breeding season.I think a lot of the toms have bred so much that they arent very active.Give it a few days.Usually after this lull,the toms get lonely...

I believe its a regional thing.Most 2 yearolds here have 3/4 to 1in spurs.Them lenghts need to be bumped up a bit.2yr-5/8 to 1in.3yr 1in to 1 1/4.4yr-1 1/4 plus.
