I have a habit of falling asleep during those hot early season days. With that being said, climbers are my go to stand. Most of the time I leave them on the same trees pre-rigged to climb.

Agreed. When it comes to the talk of genetics though, I would trust a wildlife biologist over a professional hunter.

Haha, I have family in VA and they always have great deer taken every year. They credit it with their older age structure though. The genes are definately there.

Not necessarily true. I know what the pro's say but an adult doe can spend her entire life within 20 acres. Lookat some of the studys done at the UGA and LSU. Also, this study was done in LA....

Agreed. On a crisp night when the deer are moving, I find that a short 30 minute drive can be extended by a much longer period of time because of my frequent stopping on the shoulder to glass deer.
