what bug repellant do you use

do not hunt a location with bad wind. get a few other sites for different wind directions to hunt even if they are not as good.

hunters need to report violations to local dnr officers or the rap hotline. we have always had sucess with them following up. they will not find violations unless you help. dont be afraid to stand up...

i use wood ash from the wood stove works well. you dont need the colors. also absorbs scent. cleans off good with soap.let them cool first

i use a ameristep penthouse blind ocasonally. about $180 good for archery. i set it up when i hunt an area. problem is it gets dark in the blind sooner than when you are outside. use a lighted sight

michigan senate has abill before the hb5741 allowing cross bows during michigans bow season. it has passed the house. the bill is in senate comittee now as far as i know.
crossbows are now allowed...

i used snuffers for a couple of years arrow flight is not very good. poor penetration if you hit the deer too high or in a boney areaand the are hard to keep razor sharp.

i would use a fixed blade for bear, i use mecanical for deer, bears usually dont bleed much anyway some times a smaller diameter hole will get better penetration. shot placement is important.

shot a nice 8 pt. 40 yards with rage 3 bld. they fly real well broke ribs on both sides with pass thru. ran 100 yrds. good blood trail. couldnt find arrow to look at blades.
