Fall Plot Question?

Im going to plant the first week or two of September. my food plot is one acre I want to plant ultimate fall mix(oats,peas,blue lupine), wheat, and some turnips. I have heard the ultimate fall mix...

Food Plot Deterrent Question

I am going to be planting come the 2nd week of september. what is a good deterrent to use so the deer wont eat up my food plot before it has a chance to mature?

Where are most of yuns killing your deer on acorn trees, cut-overs, food plots, old road beds?
In lancaster we are killing ours on acorns and food plots and road beds in the pines.

when i was that age i shot a .243 then a 7mm-08 both browning abolts and i put a lot of deer to rest with those guns they dont kick much at all and are very fun guns that i still use sometimes today.
