If I remember correctly #11 caps aren't really "hot" enough to readily ignite the pellets.I'm not familiar with your particular gun,you might try converting it to use a hotter type nipple or musket...

You can hunt anytime you want,if the squirrel/rabbit you kill looks like it might have problems don't eat it(sores,large lumps,etc).
I have always heard that rabbits should be cooked completely...

Just pulled up the reg's for Al. you don't have a summer rabbit season.According to their website your rabbit season runs from Oct 1-Feb 29.so,if your are going to do any rabbit hunt best get it done...

New to reloading and was curious as to which would be the better bullet round nose or flat nose in 350 gr Hornady?Reloading a 45/70 and it will mainly be used on deer but will be taking it on a bear...
