My season in NC has been a disaster, thus far. First, the gas shortage. Second, a camping/hunting trip that turned into a day spent at the mechanic getting a new fuel...

Haven't gotten out as much as I've wanted, mainly b/c of the absurd gas shortage in Charlotte over the last couple weeks. Saturday I only saw a mom and two littles with spots still on 'em.

Looks like a sweet setup for cruisers. Have you seen the Greg Miller hunt from a couple years ago that they replayed on In Pursuit?

No, I would never walk through the field. I mean the simple act of getting out of the stand. I use a ladder stand in this spot, which helps, but I'm still worried about them seeing the movement of me...
