the older and bigger a buck gets, the smaller his home area gets. if hes a bruiser he might have a home area of less than 5 acres..... move the stand-- or better yet take a different one in with you...

depends on how bad you spook them... ive been walking in and bumped deer from an oak i know they were feeding from-- they stood there in the dark blowing at me. i hung my stand and 30 min later...

Double O Ranch in SW Oklahoma located in the foot hills of the wichita mountians with over 3,000 acres of private land has a few openings for deer and elk hunts this season. $200 a day trespass fee....

the only reason would be larger cut to cover bad hits. but you also loose penetration with mechs, not all of them by desighn i know, but most of them. dustin, you and me both have shot enough hogs...

he charges 50 bucks a night lodging, and 100 for what he calls a meat hog (not a trophy boar) hes pretty liberal when it comes to trophies...

300 short mag loads

new win coyote in 300 short mag, looking for loads with 180-190 gr bullets. long range hog hunting in mind. any advice is appreciated, ive worked up 2 loads and neither impress me.
