im doing 2 right now the first one i simmered for a long time and it has the nose piece the second i boiled it an the nose piece felll off . i think the nose piece might be harder bone on older deer...

jay im doing 1 myself. i can tell you from experience you need to boil it . i put mine on the grill and let it simmerbut it took like 8 hrs or more for the meat to come off then i didnt use anything...
