I've had an Advance Technology colapsible stock on my mossberg 835 for three years and I have no problems with it. You can adjust the lenth to your best length. And it holds up to the 3 1/5 inch...

I don't think we would ever see one up close enough to shoot. They already see better than deer. I don't know how good their hearing is.
