Two dogs is more then adequate for lions. And yes, curs are used for lions. I am not familiar with mtn curs.

How did the hunt go? I have hounds and it is a ball chasing bears with them. Right now is catch and release season for them in most areas.

Colorado has a lot more elk to choose from. Idaho is steep, rugged, and thick. Plus lots of hunting pressure.

Merriam's turkeys are easier to hunt then Easterns. Make sure youtake optics when hunting for them as you can see farther then in Wisconsin. Also, a Merriam's gobble isn't nearly as loud asa Eastern....

Bears and lion here in Central Idaho. A couple walkers, a couple plotts, and a walker/redtick.
