1) your dogs will hunt if you teach and work with them - but you have to know how to teach them
2) go to the library and get - the books "water dogs"(a series of books)they are a step by step Rx...

I don't have the experience with the upland game other than dove but after 40 years of hunting - most of that waterfowl - the lab is the toughest most dependable kid loving hunteryou can find - My...

12 ga or 20 it is what you like....
I have both 20 ga pump and several 12's auto - (I can shoot the pump as fast as you can shoot the auto's (practice) I tend to be more accurate with the pump...
