I built this rifle from a kit about 45 years ago. Love it but I can no longer use the iron sights. Looking for a scope mount. I know TC made one and its part number was 9749 but so far haven't found one on any of my regular haunts (eBay, Gunbroker, etc) I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm open to other options than T/C but most of the ones I've seen won't work without drilling extra holes. The T/C one does.
Hope to hear back from some of you soon.

Jerry,
I know this is a late response and the 2020 season has come and gone.
I hope you did ok with what you had.
The mount that you mentioned TC 9749 is the clamshell type that accommodates Bushnell Phantom scopes and TC Lobo LER scopes.
You can also use a TC Duomount, although on a rifle it restricts much of the latitude of options of eye relief. It is best suited for handgun use, in my opinion.
While searching Ebay inquire into "Lobo mount" but they will require a scope that is suited to use the clamshell mounting method.
The Duomount comes with 1" rings and will accommodate most scope tubes.

Good luck, sir,
