Illuminated dot scopes

I'm trying to find out where I can get a 3-9x scope with a standard duplex reticle with an illuminated red center dot. I thought they were made by Bushnell but I can't find them anywhere.
I don't want the entire reticle to light, only the center dot.

I think Mueller makes some. Not the greatest of scopes but not all THAT bad I guess. Minox makes them as well in their "Plex" series but your looking at around 700+ there if memory serves. Nikon used to have one of the pro staffs with an illuminated dot BDC with just the dot illuminated. That was around 550 or so. I don't see red that well at all so illuminated ret scopes have been a bit of a bane for me. I finally landed on a couple "Red Dot" scopes that had green illumination rather than red for a couple of my hunting handguns.

I've been looking at these, myself, but I don't want the "Dot".

However, they're not cheap !

What are you mounting in on ?

Not sure yet stuffer. Probably my Win 88 that I just picked up. I put an old Bushnell Scopechief IV on it that I had about 50+ years and it is still as clear as a bell. Or I may just swap it out with a scope I have on one of my other rifles.

Thanks MS.. I've heard some good things about Konus scopes. I just went on Optics Planet and found just what I was looking for. They even had a discount code. I got the 2.5-10X for $208 with free shipment.

What a nice scope. Can't wait to shoot the 88 with it.

I'm sitting here against a tree hoping I will use mine any minute !

The only thing about Konus is short eye relief. Not sure what yours has, but the one's I've seen have all been a good bit short of what I personally like. Hope it works out well for you.

A friend of mine has a Leupold with the duplex with the red dot as you described....that thing is awesome! I know I will own one at some point...amazing scope.

Yes I agree on the eye relief issue but not too bad. I have a leupold "many" and you can't beat them Imo but I got this with a package deal so I'll keep it for now.

A short eye relief should not be a problem with a dinky .308. I shot it already and I love. it.
