Great video on the scope Windwalker. I have a 270 in the same gun and I was thinking of getting a new glass for it. How are the warranty's on these?

Lifetime warranty. It basically states that even if it was your fault they will fix it unless it was intentually abused. Im at work now so I don't have the exact wording but that is how I understood it

Man you can't beat that. I may need to check into these. I seen that academy sports had them as well for a good price

Looks like I am going to see how good the warranty is. The scope fogged up on the inside on the first day of deer season. I'm a little upset. I going to try to hunt with in then mail it in. I didn't rifle hunt very much the last 2 years because of surgeries, not missing this year.

I dropped my rifle in the field earlier this year and my scope (Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x44) was damaged in the process. I contacted Vortex customer service and they mailed me out a new replacement scope that day. All I had to do was mail the old scope to them after I got the new one. They even paid for the return shipping. You can't beat their VIP warranty. I've since sold the Crossfire II and put a Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16 on my rifle. I was and am pleased with both scopes! Good luck filling your tag Windwalker.

Update.....I sent the scope back for repairs and just got it back a few days ago.

They claim they replaced O rings and clean and tested the scope. Well, before I put it on the rifle, I stuck it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. When I got it out of the freezer it was fogged on the inside. Boy, am I disappointed!

I called their customer service and left my name and number in their inbox. I waited a couple hours and called again. They were very polite and apologized. They offered to pay for shipping back to them to look at the scope again.

I just mailed it back to them yesterday.

I will update when I get the scope back

Windwalker,

I applaud you for putting your scope in the freezer - good test to see if it fogs up !!!

Understand you will always get some fogging on the lenses from temperature change....................
