Of coarse this happened 1 week before my Colorado trip. cabelas did mount the scope the first time Bushnell legend hd. I also tried a dnz did the same thing. I ended up 2 days before trip putting a thin layer of liquid electrical tape on rings and remounted. It has not moved at all. But in my mind it is still not right. I called Bushnell tech support they said never heard of it. Kind of think that was BS cause u Google it and I am not the first person with problem
I had the same problem as Unclefish on my .308, put Leopold stanard bases, rings on it, it stays now.

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in .243 & bought the DNZ 1 piece low mount for my Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 & it's a SWEET setup!

I also replaced the stock rings on my Tikka T-3 Stainless Lite with Lupy rings and bases...I didn't like the look and feel of the package rings (also didn't want stanless rings) and the Lupy's (while not my fav's) actually provided the perfect height. I am also a big fan of Warne's rings, but the mediums were to high for my scope and low's were to low...enjoy the rifle, it's a great gun!

Well I tried installing the rings today. Looks like I must of lost a recoil pin thing on one of the rings. I never saw it until I tried taking apart the 2nd ring. So looks like I'll be buying another set and trying it again. I feel like a complete idiot but I guess a lesson learned.

My plan as well for a future Tikka 30-06! Nice mounts - hard to beat.

"Low" for a 40MM, 42MM, 44MM, 50MM ??

Plus can that accommodate Butler flip-up scope covers ?

I appreciate the feed back ASAP.

Correct, I've got the DNZ Dednutz low mount on my T3 .243 w/ Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 & it fits no problem. Not sure if the BC scope covers will fit but I'll take a look & let you know (I've got them on another scope/rifle).
