I have a Leoupold VX1 and have no complaints. It's a great scope and very clear. Great in low light conditions as well.

Nikon omega bdc i spent 229 on mine loved it shot to deer right around 250 yards with it on my tc triumph

Burris FFII, E1, or the Vortex Diamondback are the only ones on that list I'd consider, and I've owned quite a few of the others as well.

Another vote for the Diamondback, I have the 4-12 dead hold BDC on a Savage Mark II .22 and I really enjoy it.

I like the Burris! I am prejudice a little cause they are some what local. But that is great when something needs fixed. Also, they run some deals where if you buy the scope , you get a pair of bino's or spotting scope or something else at no charge. This isn't a high end scope, but for the money they are clear and collect good light. I would go look through a few and then decide...... Good luck
