Take a look on here to see what your money can buy ;

Don't think you will hear a lot of people touting nikko sterling.

Most important advise I can give you - buy it ONCE !

I shot a 4-16x44 that came with on a Howa .223. The scope itself was clear held a tight group but my only fear with a cheap scope is that it won't last like a brand name and I am not sure if you can send it back to the manufacture to get fixed. For a scope at that price you never know what your going to get. If you decide to buy it post how you like it and the good and bad points about it. I like to read about products from regular people and not paid professionals.

Sightmark 10-40x56mm looks nice and it cost less, how about a konus pro 8.5-32x56.i want to be able see yotes and cats at 400-600 yards

Junk!!! I to bought a Howa and the scope that came with it was a cheap Nikko Sterling. Lousy scope. Wouldn't hold a zero and even taking the cheap scope mounts off and using Leupold bases and rings it didn't help the scope. I quickly junked the scope and haven't looked back.

Yotes and cats at 600 yards; you're going to need +/- 30 power ! Real question is, can you shoot MOA at 600 yards ~ in the field, that is ??
