leupold Rings for Encore Barrel
 

I have a thompson center encore 12 gauge slug barrel and i was wondering if it requires a different base then the rifle barrels. Once i got it put on the barrel i can not get the scope far enough back on the stock to be comfortable. Thanks

What scope and mounts are you using? What is the ER (eye relief) of the scope? You may need a different mount or a different scope (or both) with different specs to get it in proper position. Check into a picatinny or weaver style rail that will allow more mounting latitude. That, coupled with the proper rings should solve your dilemma.
