Which Scope do you like

This is a fun survey on scopes where you DON'T have Leupold or Nikon as a choice! You have to pick another brand and give reasons why you like it (or "would" like it). I'm a Meuller fan myself. And you can't pick a German scope unless you can or would actually pay that much. :arms:

I use Burris at the Signature Select "level" (mid way up the line).

Good company with excellent background within the Optics industry, founder dating back to the original Redfield line.

Wanted a BDC reticle; use Ballistic Plex (illuminated) - very few lines other than crosshairs.

Lifetime warrant.................buy it once.

Put the 4X-16X 44MM on all my bolt guns, so that I always get the exact same sight picture no matter which caliber I'm using (not a real bright guy, so I wanted to dumb it down when I'm in the field).

Lastly, IMO when you buy a MAJOR brand name, you're paying in part for the box (name) it comes in.

I appreciate good glass...and I get a kick out of messing with the "premium" brands like Swarovski, Zeiss, S&B, Leica, Nightforce, etc.

Of all the scopes I've ever used,Zeiss is my favorite...:hail:

I've had a Zeiss Diavari 3x12x56 for about 6 years, cost about $1200 when I bought it. I don't think I would pay the now price of about $1900 for another one tho. Nice scope, but between the upper classes of Bushnell and Nikon I don't know if there is an appreaciable difference for the money.

I appreciate good glass also..................I just don't have a spare $1,000 or $2,000 to get the same "kick" out of it.

We should all be so fortunate ! :hail:

Good for you though..........................

Sightron for long range hunting and shooting. Weaver for everything else.

Leupold and Weaver. I have had some good straight power Burris scopes, I have a 6X Burris on my coyote rifle.
