Older Redfield Scope??

I have recently inherited some rifles, one of them has what appears to be a fairly old redfield scope on it...it is a 2x7 redfield tube...Just wondering if this is a decent scope or not, seems ok but it also seems quite a bit smaller than some newer scopes...any idea what this scope would be worth?

In the early to mid 80s the Redfields were the BOMB... I have some guns from that time frame that have redfields on them and they work fine.

The Redfield name has been around a long time with mixed results in terms of quality. Some Redfields were very good, some were total junk. I doubt that it would have much value, even if it is one of the better quality Redfields.

I have an early 80s production Wideview, 3x9. It is an ok scope, but certainly is not in the same league as my Leupold VX 111 that I bought about the same time.
