Vortex Viper 4-12x40

I am thinking of getting this scope for my Tikka t3 270 winchester for deer and elk hunting in eastern oregon, can anyone tell me how good they are and what they compare to, i looked through one today at the gun show and was really impressed by the quality of the optics, they were very clean and clear on any power.

Jump on it. Vortex makes great stuff and stands behind it no questions asked. My shooting buddy got a 4-16x50 crossfire with illuminated mill dot for his 22lr. We are very impressed, especially since the magnifier ring locked up on him (we shoot primarily in a sand pit). Well we live 20 min north of the vortex headquarters in middleton wi so we took it in and 5 min later they replaced it no questions asked. Like they didn't even wanna hear our story, not that it really was one. The rep we spoke with showed us two binoculars that were trashed, one was a viper that got shredded by his dog, they replaced both pairs no questions asked and were not afraid to make that known. If you ever get a chance to stop by this place i would strongly recommend it!! I won't buy another brand optics unless it is something that vortex doesn't offer.

I got a 2-7x32 viper about a month ago. It is on a knight vision .50 and seems to track well and hold a zero after about 30 shots. $175ish with free shipping with a lifetime warranty. Works for me.

I have a 3-9x40 with bdc on one of my rifles and I love it! Great scopes for the money. Check out cameralandny, they have great prices and super fast shipping. cameralandny.com has the 4-12 for 249.99

I have 4 vortex scopes and have no problems with any of them. Great scopes all around.

What site did you get free shipping from? Trying to save a few bucks...
