Just wondering
Has anyone tried the new White Hot gunpowder?

You may want to try the Black Powder section a little further down the forum.

Assuming that you are talking about the 'White Hot' pellets, there have been a few folks post about them. Basically they are T7 pellets with out the black coloring. T7 when is made in the raw form is whit also. The black is added to make us believe it is a gun powder. |

So - you are saying that there isn't really anything that "hot" about White Hots?
Hmmmm - sounds like another marketing ploy to me. :s13: What ever they are made by IMR which is owned by Hodgd.... and are T7 without the black die |
the white hots Crud ring is much softer than T7's. I found the White hots to be very accurate in my rifles but the crud ring i got with Winchester W209 primers just wasnt worth messing around with any more. With the low power muzzle loading primers im sure it would be fixed, but they are impossible to get here. Very consistent in weight
