I'd put a Sightron SII 4X32 on it. It has good glass, good ER and it's within your budget considerations.

Nikon Prostaff 2.5 x 7. Just put one on my 870 slug gun and love it. I am sure you are going to get a lot of different opinions just like brand of truck or atv. Good luck in finding one, all the others listed are great choices too.

I'm shooting 3" copper solid slugs. I need something thats going to hold up without spending a fortune.
