has this type of reticle been done yet?

i was talking with 2 of my buddies a few days ago. both were army designated squad marksmen and both were arguing over mil dot ranging. one was a first focal plane user and the other was a second focal lane user, obviously both sides have good points and bad points. now my question, is there a scope with the mils on the first focal plane and the crosshair on the second focal plane? a setup kinda like a shepherd scope. if there were something like this i think all arguement over focal lanes and mill ranging would be finish and not only that i think i might finally get a mil type reticle scope.

Never heard of such a creature. Not sure that set-up would even be possible.

if the shepherd works with reticles on both planes, i see no reason why the reticle system i described wouldnt work
