Hudson Caynon report

Went to the Hudson on Saturday. Got their around 1600 hours and trolled to almost dark, nada Chunked all night and and got a sword a Mahi and a longfin all between 0400 and 0500 in the morning trolled until 1300 hours. Nada! Nice ride home on glass but the ride out was 5 to 7 foot seas and sucked.

Slow on the troll but at least you got the meat on the chunk. Sounds like a good trip and the fact that the seas laid down for the ride in is icing on the cake. I'm done fishing the blue this year. I'll take a couple of striper trips in NJ in November and do some hunting.
