Cod fishing

I am off to Point Judith tomorrow early AM to take a shot at cod fishing on the Francas fleet. These day trips are not very productive. If you get one cod thats more than about half the boat gets. Anyway it will break the cabin fever. Did try some steelhead fishing in Oregon last Saturday. Flew out to see my 3 week old grandson!!!!

You said a mouthfull. But if you get one or two it makes the trip that much more rewarding. I' m sure you can come up with some Blackfish,Pollack or Ling to make up the balance. Good Luck and Calm Seas to ya.

Heres the update 0.00 there were no cod on the boat and 8 or so small ling. A 1.5 lb ling won the $166 dollar pool. Weather was foggy but no wind. Cant wait to see what the report in the Fisherman is this week. Thats how you learn to read the truth between the lines.
