Ande or Cajun line

Looking for some tips on which to use. Will be used mainly for Chesapeake Bay rockfish and Bluefish. Which kind of line, what poundage? Currently I'm using 20 lb. Cajun red line and 50 lb. Ande clear, just curious as to what you'd recommend...

ande for sure it works good but if you can get away with braid i would try 50 lb power pro. I highly reccomend it.

Being a full time fishing guide in the coastal bend of Texas. We fish for specks and redfish on the flats and have used both lines.
I quit cajun red because it was to hard to see on the main line and twisted up to much.
I had problems with ande breaking from scratch on shell.
I use 7 -8 1# spools a year.
Berkley has held up the best. But all spinning tackle I use 10# and casting reels have 15#. We land lots of fish in the 25# + range on both.
Berkley big game with 20 -25# shock leaders.
Good luck and great fishing.

Ill 2nd the berkley but since it wasnt the question Ive used the ande and its not bad. Ive caught both stripers and blues on it. Iuse 12 lb and 17lb so your 20lb should be just fine.50 lb works good in deep water on penn senators but braided is best for this. Mono is kinda messy.

I use Berkley big game on my mudrod, and my fighting rod, I also use it on most of my smaller reels also. 20 pound line and we catch fish up to over 100 pounds off of our pier.

However I have cajun red on my Abu 6500 and Tica rod. Crap sux. But that is just my opinion. I first bought it because of the advertising they did about red dissappearing underwater. Sure it does after it gets MORE THAN 12 FEET UNDER !
