If you are ever in Jacksonville beach, Florida, stop and fish our pier. You'll wonder why you ever bought a boat. We have caught king mackeral up to 60 something pounds with the average in the low 40's.
We have caught reds up in the 40 inch range. Flounder? 8 pounders all day. Sheep are in now and they are good sized. We missed the pompano this year. a strong front and n.easter hit just as they were approaching and they pased us by. Bull whiting are still on the bite. http://jacksonvillebeachpier.com Right now we have a bad cold front move thru and it's 37 degrees. so I'm sitting here instead of fishing.

Now thats what I'm talkin about...THOSE are Reds. I have caught a few whoppers also. Nice Sheephead and Spec too. Looks just like the fish we catch off of the Boliver penninsula, in SE Texas.
