shotgun shells

How much money do i save per 100 target shells if i got a reloader for free? and all i have to do is buy empty shells, primers, powder, wadds, and shot? I really enjoy shooting clay pigeons but i go through the shells so fast it gets decently expensive [&o]

It only cost me about $3.75 per box on my 10 ga. and they want from $18-23 per box so.

12 and 20 gauges won't save too much money over buying standard target loads.

28 you will save some money.

The advantage is that you can load exactly what you want...and the components may be of a little higher quality. You have to buy in BULK to really save anything at all in the more popular gauges

If you have to buy hulls you might even lose.....you can get wal-mart shells 12 and 20 Ga for $2.98/box in the fall.....buy several cases.....even now they're only $3.27.
I have MEC 9000G loaders in 12 and 20 Ga and they haven't loaded a shell in several years except the 20 Ga press has loaded some hunting rounds in the last couple years.
