I have several hundred 146gr - 30 cal. military-pulled tracer rounds and I am looking for the best spot to locate the proper load data for my 30-06. Any assitance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: 146gr Tracer Load Data
I've loaded those in 308 and 300mag. I would start out loading the 30.06 with 56.0gr. of IMR 4350, that would be mid-range per the Hodgdon manual. I think the only place tracers are illegal would be Calif.

Thanks for that IMR 4350 data. That is very helpful since I just bought 8lbs of that powder last week.
And Newman - you can also buy Armour Piercing and Exploding tip bullets legally as well. |

Actually I saw some .22 LR tracers over at a pawn shop the other day, I'm thinkin about buying a pack just so see what their like (never shot 'em), these claim you can see 'em at night out to 100 yards, so it should be neat.

RE: 146gr Tracer Load Data
I wouldnt shoot tracers through a rifle unless either of the two are true, your rifle has a chrome lined bore or you dont care about your guns accuracy.
