RE: Hot Loading 45-70 For Marlin Guide Rifle

Buffalo Bore has some of the hottest loads around. There are a couple of others too.
But for the price of a few boxes you could load your own.
It just depends on how much shooting you do.
Good luck

RE: Hot Loading 45-70 For Marlin Guide Rifle

Most of the "HOT" loads by the manufacturers will not be cheaper than loading your own for two boxes of Garrets you can buy dies and a box of bullets. Excellent loads can be easily put together with 3031 and Remingtons 405 grain bullet. You can also duplicate the 450 magnum with the Hornady 350 grain bullet. That said you need to go no farther than standard factory loads for deer and feral hogs.
