winchester power points?

How do these work on deer? I switched from the federal ballistic tips to the cheap power points in my 7mm08 abolt.

They're a fine bullet for deer. The most avid whitetail hunter I know has been using them since the 70's in .280.

Before i started reloading i use to shoot the power points and they work fine on deer. I've killed countless deer with that bullet and it always performed well and was accurate to boot.

For my 30-30 win reloads I use 150 grain power points and 170 grain power points when i can find them. They work great for deer and even hogs. A friend of mine back in missouri uses them religeously in all calibers that he reloads from .223 to .270. Back in the earlier days of reloading before the quote premium bullet craze, winchester power points and silvertips were the premium bullets. I think you won't be disappointed with them in my opinion they are better on deer then any ballsitic tip. good luck
