Dents in cases, during resizing.
Started reloading 300 win mag, and my once fired cases are being dented during resizing around the neck and sholder, I had this happening 10 years ago with 30.06 and don't remember why it was happening and how I corrected the problem. Since I just started reloading the 300 I also wanted to know how far down ya'll resize.

RE: Dents in cases, during resizing.
I would guess you have applied too much lube.

RE: Dents in cases, during resizing.
This is usually caused by excessive sizing lubricant on your case. If you are using a lube pad this is easy to do. It doesnt take a lot of lubricant, use it sparingly and try not to get any on the neck. I gave up the the water based stuff years ago and now use Hornady One Shot dry lube, it's not as messy either and comes in a aerosol can. For lubing the inside of the neck and good dry lube such as mica and Imperial Wax does great.

Yep, same as others, I recommend Hornady one shot spray. won't cause hydrolic dents like RCBS or even Imperial if you get too much on it.
