Nosler Accubond info????

I just bought Nosler's 5th. edition and noticed that there is no loading info the the accubonds. I was hoping to load some 200gr. with rl-22 in my 300rum. How does everyone else load these up. I was thinking of using the partition spitzer data but noticed base of the bullet is not incapsulated in copper. A mighty thanks for any info.

RE: Nosler Accubond info????

I would suggest trying a slower powder like retumbo or reloader 25 for a 200 gr bullet.

I rarely shoot 200gr. Alliant suggests you go to Re25 at that point. I have tried H1000, and Retumbo, and RL25 with 200gr partitions. I liked H1000 the best at 91gr max. From the data I have seen, I wouldn't go past 88gr of RL22 and would start at 84gr of RL22 with 200 gr bullets. One thing you can do is call Nosler and they have more data than they have on the website for more powders. Sierra is another option. Best Tech support available. Just ask them the load data for a 200gr prohunter. Another opinion helps you to make up your mind.
