Storing reloads

I am new to reloading and I just have a question about storing reloads. I reload for 25-06, 7mm mag, and 300 win mag. The problem I have is the magnums do not fit in the large ammo boxes with the bullet up. Does it matter whether I store them bullet tip up or down? Thanks in advance for responses.

It don't matter.....put them in a zip lock and label them so you remember what the load is next time you wish to use them. Keep them dry and they'll likely be good 40 years from now.

If you are storing with the tip down, just try to protect soft lead noses from damage if you were to drop or jar the container you are holding them in. Mtm makes boxes to hold everything, and their cheap to buy. Pick up a couple in the appropriate calibre and call it done. Good hunting!

I just save all of my boxes from factory loads and store reloads in them- I put a piece of tape on the boxes describing how they are loaded.

like the others are saying . it really doesn't matter how they are stored just were they are stored.

NO!! Just keep them in a cool, dry environment! You could even lay them on their sides, mox nix!!
