For those who load for 22-250....
 

I have a pet load for my 22-250 that performs really well, but I'm bored and I want to see what other powders will do...

What are some powders that you have used sucessfully on 22-250? So far I have only used IMR 4064 for this caliber.

I have always had good results with 4320 and 4895 in my 22-250

you can also try H-380, H-414 and Varget.

See what loads there are for IMR 4198. I use it in my 223 with excellent results...

37 gr of Varget behind a 55 gr Ballistic Tip gets 3700 fps and pretty accurate in my M70 Stealth.

i've used IMR 3031 and H380, the 3031 is the most acurate load

38gr of H380, pushing a 55gr bullet is close to legendary. Bruce Hodgdon named that propellant after the 38gr charge.

My Ruger M77VT MkII's pet load is a 50gr Nosler Ballistic Tip seated on 35.7gr of Varget. The velocity is right at 3700fps and accuracy is outstanding.
