For me a tumbler is a necessity. I like my handloads looking good as well as performing well. Something I believe too is that a clean case increases feeding reliability. A tumbler is worth the money. Manual cleaning is a pain. Treat your media with a good brass polish and your reloads can look factory.

I use the Lyman Auto-flow tumbler. Just pull the plug and the media drains out into the pan. No sifting media, no mess.
