Default Case Tumbler

I'm new at reloading and a friend of mine recently inherited 2 "tumblers" one was a brand new rcbs tumbler and the other just had tumbler marked on the side. He grabbed the 2nd tumbler for me and when we unwrapped it we found out it was actually a rock tumbler would this work for a case tumbler? I had given up hope but i figured that it might be worth a shot, what do you guys think?

throw in a dozen brass and let er fly.....you'll know in a few hours. I'd suspect it'll work just fine.

The very first tumbler I had was a "Thumblers Tumbler" rock tumbler that I used for brass for 10 plus years til I got my Midway tumbler.

It doesn't take much to clean brass, a tumbler is really good. I currently use a contraption made of an old box fan and an icecream bucket that will clean up a pile of brass in an hour and a half.
