260 load.
 

Went to the range today to try a new load for the 260. I used 44.0 grains of H414 with a Magnum primer with the 125 grain Nosler Partition. It grouped well and clocked 2893 fps. This from the 22 inch barrel of my Ruger All Weather rifle. I think this will be my deer load for this fall in the 260. This is one grain below max for the powder I used from my manual. Hope this works for some of you 260 shooters. No pressure signs in my rifle.

I would start a grain or two under. This was not the max load in my book but better safe than sorry.
