.30-30 loads
Anybody got any good deer loads for .30-30 with either 150 or 170 gr bullets? I just started reloading for rifle. Thanks.

Fortunatly my 30-30 is a single shot so I can use pointed bullets.
For the 150-170gr bullets in RN or FP design you can't go wrong with Reloder 15 |

Speer 170 grain FP
30 grains H322 CCI 200 primer This load consistently shoots 1.5-2 inch groups at 100 yards in my Win 94. I have even had a few groups of one ragged hole with the exception of a flyer or 2 (which was probably me fault). I have also used 32 grains of IMR3031 with equally good results. This is an easy round to load for and will perform best when loaded close to or at max. |
