Posted by snuffy on another board. Very good info with pictures of performance. I don't know if snuffy is a member here so figured I'd share this with everyone in case it's not here somewhere.

great thread...thanks for the link.....

Something was said there that I hadn't thought about.....since the new bonded bullets retain their weight better it might imply that a lighter bullet is now equivalent to a former heavier bullet.....I.E. a 165 grain bonded bullet is now equivalent to a former 180 grain conventional bullet.

I have to mull that over a bit.

Not sure about that claim. No replacement for mass. Heavier might still impart more energy given the same velocity.
