Has anyone reloaded the 300 WSM yet?
 

Will be used to elk in northern Id this year. Still haven't been able to find anything for loads or even brass as of yet. Anything would be helpful.

Midwayusa has brass. I used the .300 WSM to take one deer and one dog last year with handloaded ammo. I got the rifle in and was leaving for deer camp the next day so I just threw together a load using 150 gr partitions and RL19 which gave a little over 3000 fps, sighted it in and went hunting. I figured it would be good enough for the time being since I didn't have time to work up a load, and it was. Now that the season's over I'll be doing some load workup as it gets warmer. Today it was 33 degrees and sleeting, I like to shoot but I'm not gonna do it in that stuff.
