Who's making .17 cal bullets in 2022?

Please suggest me who is making .17 cal bullets in 2022? Is there any?

Have you found?

The email I got yesterday (Monday 7/25/2022) from Powder Valley says they have .172 20 gr V-Max and .172 20 gr Nosler Varmagedden in stock.

They also say they have 17 gr .17 HMR cartridges in stock.

you've got me a bit curious, in that admittedly I've never owned or hunted with a centerfire 17 cal rifle,
what are the advantages if any over a similar 22 cal, (and don't say less recoil even if technically true )
theres not enough recoil in my 22 cal varmint rifles to even notice

The advantage of centerfire 17’s over 22’s is blistering speed from itty bitty cases which yields ridiculously satisfying expansion on varmints in the midrange.

again just curious, not in any way suggesting you can't just having no experience with a 17 cal center fire, can you zap varmint's out at 200-300 yards or more with a 17?
like you can with some of the faster 22 cals?
is it reasonable to expect a 17cal to take out lets say prairie dogs and maybe occasionally a coyote out at 200-300 yards or more with a 17?
I know I have a browning 78 heavy barrel single shot in 223 that will, and a 223 is hardly a FAST 22 cal.

Yes, you can. The little 17’s kinda get wonky in the wind out at 600+, but connecting on colony varmints leaves a bug splatter.

223rem doesn’t come close in violence of expansion when these itty bitty 17’s connect. At 800-1000+, sure, I’d rather have a 223 with a 77smk, or better still, a 6mm, but at 0-600, the 17’s (and 20’s) are very productive.

Frankly, even running over 1000fps slower, p dogs out to 200-300yrds is easy squeazy even with my little 17WSM (Rimfire).

thank you! I appreciate the input!

I think the first 3 posts are actually bots by the look of the click bait in the OP's signature. How convenient the next two posters replied with their 1 and only post on HNI.
