OK, I'm back

After a pretty hectic separation/divorce proceeding, have managed to keep my prized posessions I did give her the house so I am homeless, but getting things straightened out, have my reloading press set back up and started loading some much needed ammo. you guys will once again be hearing from me. got a long range shoot coming up, not much prizes but bragging rights to blowing up huge amounts of tannerite. more later.

That's a tough thing to go through and come out sane on the other side. Luck to ya.

So what caliber are you reloading, and such? What kind of ranges Do you have your bullet and powder picked?

Bocajnala 09-30-2018 10:39 AM

I've wondered where you've been. Glad to see you're ok. Sorry to hear about the divorce .

Hunting season is coming.

Hopefully my first opinion of you, was just cause going through a tough patch, and not why you were going through it.

Glad you're finished with it. I went through one of those 20 years ago. Got to see first hand how lying women and under-handed lawyers work. I'm 1000X better off now!

Welcome back, amigo. Sorry to hear of your divorce, it’s a curse I hope to never bear, but it seems all too frequent to be easily avoided these days.

Glad you made it through, and know that brighter days are ahead. I also had that experience long ago and life got vastly better afterward.

Now down to business! What are your thoughts on building a light hunting rifle in 6mm for medium game? I toyed with the idea of using the 6 Creed, but a 243 Win. is likely easier to live with. Years ago I built a couple of BR rifles to shoot the 243 Win and got my backside handed to me on a regular basis, so I am just a bit uneasy with the 243.

Ridge Runner 10-01-2018 08:05 AM

Always wanted a 6mm AI, prolly the route I would go. 300 fps over the 243, better case life, and longer neck for a bit better accuracy, however to make it all it can be ya should use a long action.
