Which Reloading Dies

My grandson will be purchasing a Bolt Action 7mm-08 soon and he wants to start reloading for it. In the past I've used Riedding and RCBS dies. But I was curious about people's experiences with Lee Collet or Pacesetter dies?

I use mostly. RCBS dies. I do have a set of redding and Lee dies. I have never had any problems with those dies.

The Hornady dies have a lot of nice features at a good price. Of all my dies I think the Hornady may be my favorite.

I used the Lee Collet's when they first came out and wasn't impressed. They are "okay" for low precision work but if you want better tolerances I would suggest you stay with RCBS or, as Bill said, try out the newest Hornady offerings. I fire-form and neck size only on 99% of all my rifle rounds. For general hunting at normal ranges Lee dies are okay but if your grandson will be planning any precision work or distance then I wouldn't recommend Lee sets.
